Taryn Melvin

Taryn Melvin (left) is our youth pastor and has been a part of the team at BMC since 2007. She coordinates the different youth ministries, has coffee with young people and has a house full of unstable feline companions.

Anesca de Wit and Catherine Seshabela

Mrs Anesca de Wit (right) is the BMC church secretary and as such the whole of the church revolves around her. She has been at church since 1999 and is in charge of the admin side of hatch, match and despatch. She also gives a top class massage!

Mrs Catherine Seshabela (left) is more than our church caretaker - she keeps the whole of the church clean, runs the 14h00 vernacular service, preaches, translates, interprets and is close friend to the rest of the staff.

Susan Doran and Debby Rudling

Mrs Susan Doran (left) has been a society steward for a number of years and currently operates Indaba Entle coffee shop.

Mrs Debby Rudling (right) is a pastoral assistant who does counselling, marriage prep and enrichment, and takes care of groceries to families and hospital visitation. She has been a part of the congregation since 1978 and wishes she could retire.

Rev Peter Johnstone

Rev Peter Johnstone is the senior minister at BMC, and has been stationed at the church since 1996. He is married to Shirley and has two children, both of whom have emigrated.

In his spare time he does Elvis impersonations.
