Men's Fellowship
The Brackenhurst Methodist Men's Fellowship comprises a group of between 40 to 70 men who meet at 07h15 on the third Saturday of each month. Generally held at the church, we sing modern hymns for 15 minutes and have breakfast for 30 minutes. At 08h00 we have a guest speaker who provides us with a 45 minute talk on his area of expertise. Fifteen minutes of questions and answers follow. We guarantee that you will be ready to go home by 09h00 which allows you to do all the necessary chores around the house.
Meeting and interacting with the other men of the church is an important aspect of the Men's Fellowship group. Once a year we have a weekend camp at Suikerbosrand where we have a multitude of spiritual and sporting activities, and we also encourage fellowship between all ages and groups in the church, for example with our annual barn dance.
