JAM Gang is our middle school programme aimed at Grades 6 and 7. JAM stands for "Jesus and Me" and exactly what the ministry is all about. We aim to introduce young people to the joys of doing life in relationship with Jesus.
We meet on a Sunday morning at 9:30am. After joining the Teen Church for worship in the youth hall, we break away to the coffee shop for a time of learning, games and discussion. Young people are encouraged to start thinking for themselves, and taking responsibility for their own faith.
For more information, please contact Claudia 074 159 9139.
If you are in Grade 10 or 16 years old (or older!), then it is your time to be confirmed! Confirmation classes will be starting at the end of February 2012. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about God, the Bible and to meet some great friends.
There will be a compulsory information evening for candidates and parents on 16 February 2012 at 7pm in the youth hall.
For more information please contact the church office.
Confirmation classes are run annually from February to October each year. The course covers all the basics of the Christian faith, as well as topics particularly relevant to teenagers. It includes a confirmation camp, which is always one of the highlights of the course!
If you are in Grade 10 or 16 years old (or older!) you are very welcome to attend. Please contact Bruce or the church office for details of our next course.
Various camps are held throughout the year. These include Youth Camp, Confirmation Camp, Young Adults Retreat, and December Leadership Training Camp.
CAMPS ARE ADVERTISED IN THE CHURCH NOTICES AND ON THIS WEBSITE!

'Teen Church' is an environment where teenagers (Grades 8 and 9) can come on a Sunday morning and still feel a part of the church. The purpose of Teen Church is to develop a healthy faith in Christ in young people, and to grow them up to the point where they feel ready to be confirmed. Join Teen Church on Sunday mornings at 09h30 and enjoy live bands, multimedia presentations, games, movies, speakers and great discussions. For more information contact Bruce Vivian on 082 873 4566.
In Junior Children's Church (09h30 service; ages 4 - pre school) the aim is to show the little ones that God loves them, that each one is special in his or her own way, and to begin teaching them about the Bible in an enjoyable and creative way.
In Kids 4 Christ Senior (Grades 1- 5) we aim to teach children about Jesus and his great love for them, and to help them develop a relationship with him in a fun and enriching way. All in all our vision at Kids 4 Christ is to help raise God empowered kids: kids who will be able to transform lives, having learned that with God all things are possible! Kids 4 Christ takes place on Sundays at 09h30.
Morning creche
Our morning creche is open at the 09h30 Sunday morning service and provides care for children between the ages of 1 and 3 years old. The creche takes place in the wendy house behind the cry room and offers parents the opportunity to worship without being disturbed by their young children.
Evening creche
The evening creche is open at the 18h30 Sunday evening service and provides care for children between the ages of 1 and 10 years old. The creche takes place in the classroom just opposite the main church entrance.
Children who are baptised are placed on the cradle roll. The cradle roll secretary remains in contact with those children until they reach Children's Church age and are invited to attend Children's Church.
At BMC we celebrate children, youth and young adults and offer them the opportunity to make friends, meet Jesus and learn discipleship.
We try to offer age appropriate activites, as well as various levels of training for youth leaders, and aim to integrate young people fully into the life of the church.
